Bath Pantomime
For almost 30-years our dance school has provided and trained dancers for the UK Productions' Pantomime at the Theatre Royal, Bath.
Each year a select few children are asked to perform and dance alongside famous actors and TV stars for five weeks over the Christmas period. It is always an honour to be part of such a magical Christmas tradition.
School Shows
Every five to six years every member of our dance school takes part in our school showcase at the Theatre Royal, Bath.
Jungle Fever was the fastest selling show The Theatre Royal Box Office had ever experienced. Having already performed 10 times at a previous venue and 4 times at The Theatre Royal, we staged an extra 5th show by popular demand.
Spellbound in 2013 was a magical experience for all involved. With a wide selection of musical influences, the audience were captivated with songs from current chart hits to West End shows such as, Matilda and Wicked and We Will Rock You from Rock band legends Queen.
Our most recent sell out show was 'Raising the Barre' at the Theatre Royal in Bath; a celebration of how all our students rise to the occasion and perform with such enthusiasm and professionalism. It was a most fantastic show of which all our students were proud to be a part of.
Disney
The Dorothy Coleborn School of Dance has performed five shows at 'The Fantasyland Theatre', Euro Disney Paris.
This has enabled over 230 children to have a "backstage" experience at Disney as well as performing on the professional stage to an international audience.
In the past, over 350 supporters have travelled with us to Paris, making the trip exciting and memorable for all.
Professional Productions
We have wonderful relationships with casting agents, directors and choreographers and have supported professional productions to find and train children to take up exciting roles on stage and screen.
