About Laurel

Laurel trained at Central School of Ballet where she graduated with a 1st Class BA Honours Degree, whilst at Central she worked with choreographers such as Russel Maliphant, David Nixon and Christopher Hampson, creating pieces for Ballet Centrals UK tour. Upon graduating Laurel performed as part of the 50th Anniversary Cast UK Tour of West Side Story.

In 2010 she joined ADiaspora Collective dancing in ‘Frusted’ in London and Europe, she then joined Uchenna Dance in Autmun 2010 performing with them throughout London at venues such as The Bernie Grant and The Richmix Theatre. As a member of Antique Dances she performed at Glastonbury Festival, Exeter Fringe Festival and a Summer Season at The Kings Head, Islington. Laurel worked the Maxwell Dance Project throughout 2011/2012 performing at the Queen Elizabeth Hall Southbank, 2012 Resolutions! and The RichMix theatre. In September 2012 she performed with James Cousins Company at Sadler’s Wells. Laurel is also a member of Joss Arnott Dance, since joining in 2010 she’s created and performed in roles nationally and internationally,  Laurel began working with Yorke Dance Project in January 2014. Laurel is currently living her dream performing with the Martha Graham worldwide.
